Steamed Turbo with Garden Vegetables White, tender fresh turbo steamed in a red rich tomato puree sauce steamed with baby peas, string beans and capers. Light, healthy, appetizing and tasty. Tips:
You can use either fresh or frozen peas. For a Servings: 4-6 Time: 25 minutes Ingredients: 4 fresh
Turbo filets Preparing the Vegetables Precook the frozen peas for 15 minutes and drain. Rinse, trim and cut the string beans in half and set aside. Steaming the Turbo In a large skillet, add 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil, pressed garlic and heat. Add the tomato puree, salt, string beans and cook for 10-12 minutes. Add the Turbo filets, baby peas, capers, white wine and steam for additional 10-12 minutes. Serve hot.
