TYPE OF COOKING - BASIC AND EASY

My cooking is easy and down to earth. I use basic, on-hand ingredients  that are essential for good Italian cooking.  Some examples are:

A good brand of olive oil
Lots of fresh garlic
Onions
Fresh basil, parsley and rosemary
Good grated cheese (preferably pecorino
    Romano)
Dry herbs such as oregano
(Dry basil and dry parsley are also excellent for
    many Italian dishes)

My recipes are simple. Anyone with desire who is willing to take the time and expend a bit of effort can make them.

I am not a gourmet chef who complicates recipes with extensive ingredients, making the job so hard, you will want to give up before you get started.

To give you an idea of how much I love my craft -- while friends go to shop at the mall on Saturday afternoons, you'll find me right here in my kitchen, cooking up something fantastic for Saturday night’s dinner.

I take great pride in what I do. I look forward to it. I never find cooking a chore.
